Aradhana Shukla Born and brought up in Gorakhpur city of Uttar Pradesh Aradhana Shukla obtained her Ph.D in Psychology in 1982from Gorakhpur University (Now named as Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur).She served as Assistant Research Officer in the Department of Paediatrics, Institute of Medical Sciences Banaras Hindu University and Post Doctoral Fellow (UGC).In 1987 she joined the Department of Psychology, Kumaun University Campus Almora,and retired from there in 2019.She served there as Professor and Head, Department of Psychology Kumaun University, Nainital and Dean , Faculty of Arts , Kumaun University, Nainital.In addition, she performed all chores that were delivered to her by University like Proctorial Board, Students Welfare Board and conduction of examination.She is Senior Research Fellow (ICSSR) in the Department of Psychology SSJ University, Almora. Prof. Shukla has published more than 250 research papers in journals and books of national and international repute.She has written 20 books and editing two series on," Mental Health " and ," Psyche and Psychology of Asian Society " along with the construction of 16 psychological tests.She has completed six major projects sponsored by UGC, NCERT,ICSSR and UNICEF.She has attended and participated in international and national seminars and chaired so many sessions by offline and online mode.She has chaired 3 webinars organised by SAARC.Moreover she , herself, organised 06 seminars, refresher courses.She has also served as Supportive Supervisor in the GFATM round -7- an international project.She has guided 52 Ph.D. students and 30 M.A dissertations.At present she is serving as Senior Fellow (ICSSR) Department of Psychology SSJ University Almora .Her major areas of interests are : Cross Cultural Psychology, Personality, Mental Health, Research Methodology and Environmental Psychology. She is certified counselor from NIMHANS and enhancing social well being through her counseling is her utmost passion.

Dr Madhubala Yadav is a trained Rehabilitation Psychologist with PGDRP in Rehabilitation Psychology and PhD in Psychology with specialization in understanding Learning and Teaching styles and their effect on Academic Achievement. She is also a certified Reattach Therapist and working for Individuals with Autism. She has trained special educators as a master trainer for identification of Learning disabilities and ADHD. She is also associated with Divyangjan Shashaktikaran Vibhag Uttar Pradesh.

Poonam Sharma, PhD in Psychology, is an Associate Professor at the Department of Social Sciences at the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore. Formerly, Dr Sharma served at Amity Institute of Behavioural & Allied Sciences, Amity University, Maharashtra. She has made a significant contribution to establishing the Behaviour and Allied Sciences School at AUM during her period. She has years of experience in the development and Academic sectors. She holds the Vice President position at Bhartiya Counselling Psychology Association (BCPA). She has been involved in orienting students on diverse subjects like Psychological Disorders, Positive Psychology, Multicultural-Community Psychology and Counselling. She has been collaboratively working with international experts from Evergreen State College USA, Wuyi University China, and Nha Trang University, Vietnam, for the past seven years to share and widen her knowledge and understanding of multicultural Psychology. She has developed a few MOOCs under Open Education for Better World project of UNESCO and presented the same at the University of Nova Gorica, Slovenia. Dr Poonam has in-depth experience working in the field of HIV & AIDS, Tuberculosis counselling, gender, and sexuality through capacity building and research. Apart from teaching, she has been associated with the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai and developed modules for HIV/AIDS and TB Counselling. She has her PhD in the prevention of HIV among female sex workers. Apart from HIV, her area of research and work are preventing Child Sexual abuse, well being of marginalised sections of society and education innovation. She is a member of a special interest group, “Human Rights, Peace & Global Well-being”, under APA DIV 52 of International Psychology. Dr Sharma is known for her open and flexible approach towards life. Her ideology is to make an impact to be responsible social and individual human beings. She has authored two books and many research papers.

Dr Ved Prakash Rawat

Dr. Ved Prakash Rawat is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology, Vasanta College for Women, and Admitted to the Privileges of Banaras Hindu University, Rajghat Fort, Varanasi. Before this he was working as a Lecturer in Department of Psychology on Ad hoc basis from 11 th September 2008 to September 2009 in St. Joseph’s College for Women, Civil Lines- Gorakhpur. He has done his M.A. in Psychology, NET/ JRF & RET Qualified, and holds a Ph.D. in Psychology. A prolific writer, he has written 2 books and chapter in a book and has contributed more than 22 research Papers and articles in various reputed National and International Journals.
